課程特色

- P1 Space Town Programme & P2-3 PLP-R/W Programme
Students participate in 3–4 weekly lessons under the Space Town (P1) or PLP-R/W (P2-3) programmes. Each double lesson is co-taught by a Native-speaking English Teacher (NET), a local English teacher, and a teaching assistant in our English Room. Big books are utilized to facilitate interactive and engaging learning tasks, effectively enhancing students’ English proficiency.
- P4-6 School-based Reading and Writing Programme
Our school-based programme for P4–6 features selected readers and supplementary reading materials that align with the General English (GE) syllabus. NETs and local English teachers co-teach each lesson, explicitly targeting the development of students’ reading and writing skills. Additionally, this programme aims to broaden students’ horizons and nurture their appreciation for the beauty of English literature.
- Home Reading Programme
Students’ reading abilities are assessed each term and books matched to students’ individual reading levels are assigned every week, encouraging them to read independently or together with their parents. This practice fosters reading habits, enhances language skills, and promotes family involvement.
- NET Team
Our school maintains a dedicated NET team comprising four full-time Native-speaking English Teachers who support English learning across all levels. In addition to classroom teaching, NETs actively lead various extra-curricular activities and organize engaging English events. Through the interaction with NETs, students gain exposure to diverse cultures and experiences.
- E-learning
Through the use of platforms such as Quizlet, Kahoot and OneNote, students enhance their English skills in a fun and dynamic way. These tools enable interactive vocabulary games, real-time gamelike quizzes, personalized learning experiences, while platforms like Teams and Padlet facilitate collaboration and communication. By integrating these technologies into our curriculum, we ensure that students build confidence and proficiency in English while preparing for a modern, interconnected world.
